about.pngCreating a world free from cancer in our lifetime is not a dream, but a mission rooted in past progress. Current statistics state that one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. But thanks to new cancer medicines, policy-shakers and groundbreaking discoveries, the number of cancer survivors has doubled since 1990—from 6 million to 13 million.

That’s a lot of cancer survivors. But it’s not enough—we can do more. Much more. We can all share in creating a world free from cancer by demanding change in how we develop and practice medicine; we need to make cancer treatment predictive, personalized, preventive, and participatory.
